Are the Gifts of the Spirit for Today?

All the gifts of the spirit listed in 1 Corinthians 12: 4-11 are for today. The bible doesn't say that the gifts  passed away with the apostles or deciples. Paul is writing to the new testament church of today. These gifts are for instruction and should be present in the church today.

These include:

 

word of wisdom

 

word of knowledge

 

faith

 

healing

 

miracles

 

prophecy

 

discerning of spirits

 

tongues

 

interpretation of tongues
